Seeking for internal peace amongst chaos
I repeatedly isolated myself
With my eyes closed looking for answers
Too many questions were raised
Such sharp screams
So much pain
I was trapped in a cage
I needed to run away
Expect now the cage was opened
There was no more reason to fight
But nowhere to go
Just me
With the sound of my own heart beat
Suddenly they came back
Those voices once loud and sharp
Screams I tried to silence
Became soft words
Flowing with each breath I took
Such clear whispers
Slowly penetrating my soul
Asking me: what are you letting die?
