Emília Brandão Carneiro’s photography was part of CASACOR São Paulo 2025, the largest architecture and design show in Latin America. Her works from the series Paris Glacial and When Winter Met Spring were exhibited in the space created by architect Brunete Fraccaroli.
Called “Lar Amar”, the 120 m² environment was designed in response to this year’s theme, “Semear Sonhos” (Sowing Dreams). Fraccaroli, one of the most recognised names in Brazilian architecture, imagined a universal loft with a living room, dining room, kitchen and bedroom suite, adapted for people with disabilities and for the needs of older adults, without giving up luxury and sophistication.
The space brings together neutral materials, light tones and plenty of texture, and includes a cabinet of amber glass cubes designed by the architect herself. Sustainability also shaped the project: the coverings were installed whole, without cutting, to avoid waste.
It was in this setting that Emília’s works found their place, in a project built around the idea that beauty and accessibility can live together.
