The BERNI series by photographer Emília Brandão Carneiro is on view at the 31st CASACOR Minas Gerais, in the Loft do Criador space designed by architect Gláucia Britto in partnership with AM Galeria. The show takes place at PUC Minas Lourdes in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, through October 6.

Loft do Criador

Designed by Gláucia Britto, Loft do Criador was conceived around one principle: every choice starts from an intention. Rather than following trends, the architect sought what makes sense for the project, for the atmosphere she wanted to build, and for the way the space will be lived in. The space was designed with a horse breeder in mind.

Art in the project

The works from the BERNI series are part of the space in partnership with AM Galeria, bringing fine art photography together with interior architecture. The series’ presence in the loft shows how art can define the atmosphere of a space, not just decorate it.

The project treats well-being as a new concept of luxury. Custom-made furniture is combined with natural materials and enveloping lighting, in a space that invites body and mind to rest. The Canela finish reinforces the welcoming atmosphere, designed to renew energy. The proposal echoes this year’s theme, “Mente e Coração” (Mind and Heart), which invites participants to turn the home into a space of comfort and balance.

In 2026, CASACOR Minas brings together 40 spaces in a circuit of architecture, decoration, art, and landscaping. The edition takes place at PUC Minas Lourdes for the second consecutive year, in a historic building in the Circuito Liberdade area that continues to be restored.
