Emilia Brandão Carneiro was a guest on the podcast É Foto ou Vídeo? to talk about the importance of connection in creating portraits. A portrait and fine art photographer born in São Paulo and based in Europe since 2008, Emilia has built a career of more than two decades centered on portraits and intimate stories. She has been a Leica Ambassador since 2020 and has collaborated with magazines such as Vogue, which gives this episode the perspective of someone who has approached portraiture from many different angles.
